Vision Statement

We are committed to helping all youth develop wholistically by offering programs and developing relationships that nurture the whole person – physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

We are dedicated to seeing young people have the opportunity to make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church.

All of the below events are free to the participants but there is a cost to our ministry to run them. If you are an individual, church or business who is interested in partnering financially (or through gifts in kind) with YFC to make these event a success please e­mail us at info@yfcwaterdown.com – we’d love to meet with you, give you a tour of our amazing facility and hear more about your passion to give!



Lunch Drop In (ages 13-19)-Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays 10:45 am – 1:15 pm. High school kids can take a mid-day break from school and drop-in for a free lunch. This program is available for all youth regardless of income level, to come and hang out on the main floor, enjoy a free lunch or head to the basement to play floorball, pool, ping pong, and air hockey. Axiom (ages 13-19) -Young men meet Tuesdays after school at the Youth Centre till 5 pm (during school year) to connect with each other and their mentors. They talk about everything a teenager could want to discuss: friends, family, faith, girls and everything in between. iMatter-Girl’s Club meets Wednesday after school till 5 pm. Girls begin to understand their value and worth in order to live out their full potential. Topics discussed range from goals and dreams for the future, to pressures and stress from school, friends and family, and of course, boys! iMatter is a safe place to talk and deal with the issues all girls face and to discover truth about who they really are. •Youth Waves Recording Studio (ages 13-19)-For musical and artistic high school youth, the state-of-the-art studio is the perfect opportunity for students to write and record their own music.
