Annual Hamilton Senior of the Year

Recognizes a senior residing in Hamilton who has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to enrich the social, cultural or civic life of our community. The recipient selected for this award will be recognized at a ceremony in June, and will receive an official framed certificate signed by the Lieutenant Governor 905-689-7880

The Centre offers programming 5 days a week with a variety of social, recreational and learning opportunities that will appeal to many different individuals. 2016 Wentworth District #22 Senior Games

Invites citizens 55 years or over to participate in recreational activities and sports within the areas of Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook and Stoney Creek. Summer games are in May. Enjoy the participation and some light competition in the following activities: Contract Bridge, Cribbage, Duplicate Bridge, Bid Euchre-Doubles, Shuffleboard, Euchre, 3K Prediction Walk, Darts, Swimming, Golf, 5 Pin Bowling, Bid Euchre-Triples, Lawn Bowling, 10K Prediction Cycling and Nordic Prediction Walking, and two new events, Nordic Walking and Pickleball.
