Flamborough Information and Community Services

FICS has finally returned to our former space at 163 Dundas St. E in the new Waterdown Library Civic Centre.  It is wonderful to be in the new building, sharing with other community organizations such as the Library, Flamborough Senior’s Centre, Municipal Service Centre and the Archives. Flamborough Information and Community Services continues to serve the residents of Flamborough in many different ways. We provide information and referral and volunteer opportunities through Volunteer Flamborough.  Our services, which are outlined in the pages of this guide, help to support people and improve their quality of life.

It is with mixed feelings that I have decided to retire from my position as ED of our agency.  FICS has been such a big part of my life for the last twenty years. I am so thankful for the people and clients that I have worked with, many of whom have become friends. One thing that I have learned is that working in partnerships in the community is what gives all of us purpose and strength.
